Warrenton is the seat of Fauquier County and a beloved Virginia town with a walkable historic downtown, excellent restaurants, and a thriving arts scene. Real estate here ranges from charming in-town Victorians to sprawling farm estates. It sits at the convergence of Route 29 and Route 17, close enough to Northern Virginia's job centers but far enough to feel like a different world. The Northern Virginia sprawl has not yet hit Warrenton, but it's still just an hour or so from DC.
